A Rich Heritage
Gerber Wood Products traces its heritage back to 1901, when E.P. Gerber founded a sawmill to serve his local community in Kidron, Ohio. Over time, he expanded his business into a full-service hardware and building materials store. And when the second generation of the family arrived, the business expanded again to add a woodworking shop. As the community continued to grow, the third generation of the Gerber family also added wood molding equipment to assist the area’s furniture-making trade.
Tried and True Craftsmanship
Today, Gerber Wood Products has a nearly 50,000 square foot facility with space for manufacturing, warehousing, and more. Even as we’ve continued to expand, the Gerber family legacy keeps us rooted to the time-honored traditions that led us to this point. By focusing on consistently delivering high-quality work with creative, artistic craftsmanship, our team is able to offer beautiful personalized wood products.
